I HIGHLY recommend non-hurricane season. After a certain number of days stuck on a ship w/o a port of call, you begin to feel like jumping overboard.

On a brighter note...my grandmother-in-law wants the whole family to go on a cruise together for her 80th birthday in January and she picked the same Bahamian cruise that we had for our honeymoon. It will be great to have a do-over!

If I ever personally plan another cruise vacation, however, it will only be through DCL, especially after reading this thread.
Yeah, I lived in South Florida long enough to know that booking tropical vacations during hurricane season is just, well.... risky! No thanks!
Congrats on the do-ver, this time it will be WONDERFUL, and storm free! hehe.
