I wrote a blog about the whole event on My Space but I never said anything on MB. It was quite a sweet surprise from Daniel and to make a LONG, sweet story short I got invited to a private diamond show a couple weeks ago, thinking I would go "just to check things out." I had been wanting to transfer the diamonds in my engagement ring into a white gold setting for a long time so I wanted to investigate some settings. So when I got there the jeweler had a card from Daniel & inside, besides a really sweet message, was a really BIG wonderful surprise!!
In the end, I ended up selling my old engagement ring to the jeweler (& made out GOOD because the price of gold & diamonds is so good right now). This is where the REAL
dream came in... the jeweler had already pulled all the emerald & princess cut center stones (Daniel told him that's all I'll wear) and I got to look at each one under the light-lookie thing.
I also got to go through about 4 cases of setting and found my DREAM DREAM DREAM setting with my DREAM DREAM DREAM center stone. It's very unique, I haven't removed it from my finger since, & I can't stop staring. When Daniel FINALLY showed up the jeweler made him put it on my finger & give me a kiss.
I felt like we got engaged all over again.
