Screever, I'm an annual passholder, so that allows me to park hop. Sometimes a park hopper pass is the best way to go, as there are some rides and activities in DCA that are just as E-tickety as Space Mountain. Soarin' over California is one, Tower of Terror is another, and getting yourself in the front seat of California Screamin' is to die for.. 
The cost of the park hopper isn't that much more than a Disneyland only pass. You ought to think about it..
