Maggie, I think you are right. I am not much of a seafood eater myself (I don't know what kind of New Englander I am!) but my parents rarely order fish, particularly Lobster outside of New England. That's one reason we have never tried the Cape May Clambake despite hearing great things about it.
Having said that, my dad ordered fish and chips at Raglan Road on our trip last week and said it was the best fish and chips he ever had. Of course, the menu claims that they fly fish in from Boston for the fish and chips so there you go!
