Wishy, first off, that ring is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!!!! I have an Emerald Cut diamond in my engagement ring, but your jeweler is right..I have never seen one sit horizontal before! And that setting...JUST STUNNING!!!!! Stare at that ring all day long...IT'S YOURS!
I just wanted to add that while I have NEVER been on a DCL cruise, I have been on 4 cruises in my life, all in Inside Cabins. I can honestly say that not having a window DID NOT change the quality of my vacation.
AT ALL! In fact, it was SO easy to fall asleep at night and sleep in if you wanted to! And I would NEVER get a Balcony room, personally...not with kids. Too scared.
