I feel like "sometimes" they put the people who don't ask in the best seats!
We never ask or make any request because we are very "come what may" kind of people. I have been in line checking in and EVERY TIME the person in front of me request (or demands) a seat on the water and every time I have seen them seated..and our table is always better.
