They are just doing this so they can continue to run these "fare sales" (if you want to call them that) and make up the difference elsewhere...just lump the crap all in to one price for God's sake instead of surprising you with hidden extra fees later. Last year when I booked they started charging for bags...this year I am paying to pick the seat I paid good money for long in advance...really annoys me. I wish I had the patience to sit in the car...I'd drive.

Seriously, that's insane. I cannot believe they would charge you a fee to ensure you get to sit next to your daughter! That is gouging at its very lowest and dirtiest.
