Is this just a hunch or is there a historical pattern at work here?
Personally, it is a hunch. But, there is a possibility that we may never see them again. I am sure that Disney is using this time to determine if Early Entry was drawing people to their resorts, or if it really doesn't matter. To me, it doesn't matter, I will stay there anyways, and I didn't take advantage of them when they were around. Then again, we don't ever go during a "busy" time of the year, so there is no use to try to get in early. I would expect to see them back sometime, maybe during Easter, but most likely not back until this summer.

since this is the first time we're going to be on property, I thought that EE would make it tolerable. Sigh.
What is the big difference? I love staying on property, and won't ever stay off again. I have always found that EE just makes that individual park more crowded during the day. We always avoid EE parks until later in the afternoon. Plus, it looks like they are bringing back the E-ride nights, and that is way better. Magic Kingdom is the only park worth using EE for anyway, and with E-ride night, you pay a small fee, and you basically get the park to yourself, but for three hours.

Oh, and what do you mean "EE would make it tolerable"? Does that mean you aren't looking forward to staying on property?
