If there are rooms available (which are either from point exchanges or builder inventory) you get a discount off the rack rate. It's NOT cheap. Better off and rent some points for the difference if you can.
You can also do a transfer in from someone who has points to your account then just add the date to your existing reservation. (Members are allowed 1 transfer per year or I'd transfer you some.)
