I voted 'sometimes' but only because there wasn't a 'sorta' choice.

The first time we went we tried a tour plan from one of the guide books but it ended up being too much and too structured for us. Now we take all the info we can find, read through it, take suggestions from tour plans that make sense for our family based on past experience, put our thoughts/plans on paper, then go with the flow once we hit WDW and the parks. I'm not sure if that even makes sense. But that's our "plan" and it usually ends up being no plan unless we have ADRs.
