Once you have been to Disney several times, you don't need one. I think after 3-4 times, it was easy to plan your days months in advance. I am also able to go during the slowest times of the year, so, that has quite a bit to do with it. You can plan which parks you are going to visit on the days you are going to be there. Once you have that, you can make your ADRs. Some things don't change. Such as hit Soarin, Kiliminjaro Safari, Dumbo etc. as early as possible. After that, use the fastpasses wisely and you can get everything you want done. It's knowing how to use the fastpasses wisely that is key.
