You'd be surprised . . . I asked about AKL for Xmas Eve to Xmas Day, thinking it would be fun for one night and I'd splurge cuz we always wanted to stay there. $500 for the one NIGHT . . . and I was told that resort was almost BOOKED for Xmas week. So people do pay!
