The clerk said that our store was one of the last few open in our area. She said that they have been demolishing other store locations. The work crews are told to "sledge hammer" all the props in the stores, then they have to be photographed to prove they were destroyed. Seems strange. She said they were not even allowed to buy them.. such a shame.. really cute props in the stores.
She also mentioned that when they re~open, they will carry items similar to what you can buy in the parks, & WOD, such as more adult clothing.
It would be great if they brought the characters into the stores.. Mickey would be super!

My daughter is a huge stuffed animal fan . . . it's like her thing, each time we go she gets one! Anyway, I was in the Disney Store and I was

that the same animal, was like half the price of the parks!!
I asked the CM and she said the only real difference of the ones you buy in the park is they have an official seal on them that says WDW/DL and you can say "I bought it in WDW!"
So if they start selling other "park" items I'd be interested to see the difference in price? Or is it will be the same across the board now that Disney owns them again?
