Magical Journeys is keeping an eye out for rates at the Grand Floridian. Originally we were going to pay $975 for 3 nights (AAA Disct) at Poly. Then Magical J got us a passholder rate for $874 for 3 nights. If somehow we got the chance to stay at the Grand for $975 or less we would consider changing.
If you had to pick, would it be Poly or Grand ?? And why???

The Poly has been refurbished...new flat screen tvs, etc. I don't think the GF has. Two years ago we stayed at the GF in Sago Cay and it was really obvious the carpets needed to be replaced and some wallpaper was coming off. It kinda looked a little shabby. My sister stayed at the Poly last year...the rooms and hallways were looking nice and fresh.
Personally I would stay at the Poly and wait for the GF to get spruced up.
