I have a friend who owns at SSR, she wants to sell and buy at BCV. When she bought I don't know that she knew whe could get BCV or BWV through Disney. Guides don't offer that information.

Yeah, it was definately unfortunate timing on my part. I remember sitting in that DVC room and specifically ASKING, "I've heard rumors about Animal Kingdom Lodge, is this true? It's my favorite resort in the world I'll be really upset if we buy then Disney decides to do AKL." The guide swore UP AND DOWN that this was not the case & it was purely rumor based on zero facts."
I know he could have lost his job for telling me inside information so I TOTALLY don't blame him. We had already waited 2 years after our initial tour, got a great SSR deal, so we just did it.
Then ding, ding, ding... sure enough... we found out in August '06 that they were coming out with DVC AKL Villas.
Oh well, we are definately happy being members and HOPEFULLY once the full village at AKL gets finished it might be easier for us to get in... who knows.
I still want more points.
