Re: Hannah Montana in 3D and HD?
Welcome to MouseBuzz!
I have no idea.... I am assuming that if you watch it oh HD, it will be the exact same show, still in 3D. What I've noticed with HD Disney Channel (at least with our tv), is that it doesn't like to fill out theframe, and I have to go mess with the settings to get it to enlarge.
I'm not sure about this whole 3D on TV thing.... I've heard to go to WalMart and pick up free 3D glasses, but I'm not sure if you can watch it without the glasses. I am assuming that the 3D technology will be like that used in Spy Kids 3D.... therefore, it can be watched without the glasses, the shading will just be awkward with lots of red and blue. With the TV, it obviously can't have the multi-projector effect as those 3D films in the parks. Which is kind of a bummer.... however, the 3D-at-home area hasn't been widely worked with, so I'd say there's still a lot of improvements to be made in the near future, as it appears to be becoming more and more popular to immerse viewers within the film.
Unfortunately, we will be in Atlanta when the Hannah Montana 3D concert shows on Disney Channel (one time only!?!?), so we won't have a big screen, and since i will be at DCI, I won't be able to see it, since it's unlikely that the resort will have Eastern and Pacific Time Zones of Disney Channel (can't catch it at 11:00...).
