Stay at a value!! But, we have done the same thing a couple of times....we stayed at Best Western Lakeside and it was very nice.....but, last spring we stayed at Ramada Inn-Maingate and it was not for me! Can't really say why....price was good, pool looked fun, but I wasn't comfortable there. We usually book these first night stays on-line and usually get a pretty good deal. But, again, if there is a room available I would stay at a value on Disney property!!
