We buy pin lots on Ebay to trade, and though we are a bit picky, I have gotten great pins on Ebay, many I dont want to trade! We start with full lanyards of random pins and try to trade for ones we like. We have a good mix of limited editions, odd balls and ones that we just "like". Our kids LOVE the interaction with the CMs, sometimes we spend LOTS of time in the parks chatting with CMs while the kids trade. We have rarely purchased pins that we have seen on CMs, many times they comment on what great pins we have.

The CMs do seem to like this part of their job...most are very friendly and you really find out how small the world really is!

This year, we have so many, we purchased a book to put our "keepers" in and have our lanyards ready to trade!
