[Sungold]

It was 2 years ago, but my niece & I stayed at the Holiday Inn which is right next door to the Disneyland parking garage. Too bad we could not enter it from the hotel parking lot! But if you walked all the way around the parking garage (8-10 minutes) you could board the tram, which was then only a minute or two from the park entrances. I can't think of the name of the street it was on, I think it may have been Walnut St. It was connected in an odd way with another Holiday Inn that fronted on a main street...both hotels' back-ends were adjacent to each other. Both properties shared the outdoor pool, which was the only drawback. The pool was very crowded, and much too small to be serving 2 hotels. With any luck, they will correct this. The hotel had very nice public areas, a sit-down restaurant, and was on the trolley line, with a stop right outside. I remember getting a price of about $79/night for a double, in mid-April.
