Re: Hope for a Dream

*** Pixie Dust *** I hope you receive one. Although, don't set out trying to 'find' or track down the Dream Team. We've been on 6 (maybe 7, WOW, that's sad that I don't even know) trips to both WDW & DL since the celebration started and I've seen some WEIRD behavior from guests OBVIOUSLY trying to approach them on purpose, track them down, etc. One morning we were in EPCOT and a woman came rushing down a walkway screaming at everyone, "THE DREAM TEAM IS IN CANADA... GIVING AWAY EARS... GO! GO!" Aye, I ignored her. I felt like the 'real spirit' of the conest shouldn't be me rushing around tracking people down 'cause guests were spreading the word. I was ALWAYS anxious to receive something but I tried to keep cool when I saw them.

ANYWAY, one thing I have learned during this contest.... GET OUT EARLY!!! Be there at park opening. Every single time we're gotten ears, pin lanyards, & fast passes it's been BEFORE 11am. The trend during my trips has also been that it's been 'off the beaten path.' For instance we received AK Dream Fastpasses on the walking trail (where you see the bats & tigers) within an hour of the park opening when most likely the big crowds are at EE or the Safari. We received dream ears in the China pavillion museum within an hour after the World Showcase opened one morning, & in Disneyland they were also out of sight near the back of the park giving out FPs early in the morning.

Also, from stories I've read it seems like they've been picking castle suite winners early in the morning too b/c you have to meet them (all ready to go) in the afternoon at some point for the stay.

So, you never know when or where BUT... the trend I've noticed is that early in the morning & off the beaten path COULD increase your chances.

Good luck, have fun!!
