This rumor has been going on for so long. I wrote to Disney about it a couple of years ago when it first surfaced, and they were nice enough to call me in person to assure me it was still only a rumor. I agree that it probably will get moved/closed someday, but for now CoP is still hanging in there.
For anyone else (like me!) who loves the attraction and wants to see it stick around, the best thing you can do is give it your patronage! Disney pays attention to "numbers", so the more people who visit the attraction in a given day, the better chance of it sticking around for a long time.  |
We do our part! I know that each day we visit the MK, we always see it!!!
