Me and my wife had a dinner in the castle and sat about a half hour before the fireworks started. The window seat was awesome and being a party of 2 you can probably get one. I'd say get your p.s. for an hour before the fireworks start, it'll probably take a half hour to get in from then and the view was magnificent. Every time we've gone to wdw since, we stop in back of the castle because my wife wants to see "our window"...
