Fingerprinting has only been in effect since sometime in 2007.
Also, they are not APs, so even if they do have a fingerprint attached, it really won't matter. There is no identification on those tickets as to who they belong to. Also, there are so many times that guests have to have their fingerprints rescanned, even with APs, that it won't make any difference.
Standard operating procedure is to keep the line moving. SOP is also, if the fingerprint doesn't match, rescan and admit.
I say use them.

See I agree with you. This is because I bought tickets from the Disney Store for my Dec trip and never knew whos was whos. They were all the same. Who was to say that I wasnt using my moms and she wasnt using my nephews.
