Positive experience renting ECV off-site

I wanted to let my fellow MBers know that we recently rented an ECV for 10 days from Walker Mobility- someone here had recommended them. We had an excellent experience with this company, I am happy to report. It was less expensive to rent from them, and my elderly father was thankful to have it always (not just at the parks). He told me that he never could have vacationed with us without it!

They dropped off the ECV at Pop Century the day before we arrived, and picked it up from our timeshare at the end of our vacation. It was in great condition, and we had no issues with the unit.

However, I must say that the ECV was heavier than I anticipated, and lifting it into and out of a car trunk requires two people. I had my Subaru Outback (hatchback), so it was easier to lift it into the back. The seat lifted off easily, and the front "handlebars" folded down with a simple push of a lever.

I would give my personal recommendation for this company. (No, I do not work for them )

I just called them today. The guy I talked to was friendly and answered my millions of questions happily. We are gonna call back in a few weeks to put our deposit on it. I am thinking that this is going to make things easier. She needs the chair and the issue I had was availability. So I am so glad we found them. He even knew where we are staying is and everything.
