I found this article really interesting. Having studies ASL for a few years, was wondering who actually comes up the disney signs a hearing or deaf person. I do think disney interpreters do a good job I have watched them interpret a show before. For example I have seem the sign for mickey being used as the sign for disneyland. Just some interesting info I thought I would share.

May I also recommend the portable closed-captioning units that are now available. My wife used them on our last trip and I literally caught her crying several times because she was understanding everything that was happening. We even did some of the movies in Epcot multiple times because she was having such a good time.
