Length of Stay Wheelchair/Stoller Rental Trial at WDW

I know alot of you get the All Ears news letter so many of you may have already seen this..but

All Ear's has announced that Disney is trying out a length of stay
Stroller / Wheelchair rental. now it didnt say if this included the EVC's so I feel like it must not. And it only applies to stays of 2 or more days. the trial began on Aug 3rd and will run till the 9th.
this sounds really good to me for anyone that a standard wheel chair will work for .. like someone with temp injury. If it works maybe disney will expand it to include EVC's

I read this with intrest. This could be a great think if if tests well. Have we heard about the cost of this? Does the savings get better the longer you stay? My DS will soon be too big for our standard strollers so we may have to rent one on our next trip.

The length of stay stoller rental was going on the first week of Oct. Maybe the trials over and that's the way they do it now, I don't know. They don't do the deposit back on daily rentals anymore, so the length of stay is the best deal. Worked great for us though!

Do you get to have the stroller/wheelchair all through the resort -- I mean, into the parking lots and to the resorts, or do you have to leave it at the parks. I always thought it would be so convenient for guests who need wheelchairs to have a way to keep them during their whole visit -- maybe have a concierge type person deliver the chair when the guest arrives at their hotel, and then pick it up again when the guest is ready to leave!
