Vault Disney?

Is it true that the Disney Channel has stopped showing Vault Disney?:devil I have not seen it for a while but I used to love when they showed old footage from Disneyland on this show.

I've heard this rumor, too. It appears it's true. I have read on the Disney Channel that there is only a few days left, and I think it is just Zorro for these last few days. I went to Disney Channel.com and they don't even have a link to Vault Disney anymore. It looks like they are replacing the programming with re-runs of Zoog Disney. Although I like some of the show (Even Stevens, Lizzy McGuire) I don't want to see the same episode aired 10 times a week. I would think with all the footage in the Disney archives, they could air some old and new favorites and please every one.

Anyone remember the show "Inside Out". It was a weekly show that showed everything about Disney World. I wish they would bring that one back!

I've also heard rumor that they may have a "Vault Disney Channel" and a "Playhouse Disney Channel"...but that is rumor only!

Wow I fogot all about that show!:) :) I used to love it!! I agree they should bring that back.

A Vault Disney channel would be too cool.

Where do you go to give Disney your 2 cents about these issues?

I'm not sure...but I would start with your local cable company.

I had an issue with the "adult swim" programming on Cartoon Network. I really didn't think a childrens cartoon channel was the most appropriate place for that line up. I don't want to sound like I'm criticizing the programs (which I have never seen in there entirity, but I don't think it should be on at 9:00 CST when most kids hop into bed, turn on Scooby Doo, and when you walk in to kiss them goodnight...SURPRISE...guess what new word they learned! So, I called my local cable company, and they gave me the telephone number for Cartoon Network. I called, and talked to the operator, she transferred me to someones voice mail, and he actually called me back. I was very pleased with his interest in my concerns, and ultimately, the channel line up has been changed to after 10:00 or 11:00 (not sure).

Any way...this has become a very long response, but I wanted to fill you in on how I handled my senerio.

By the way, when I talked to the man from Cartoon Network, he told me the more feedback he got from the viewers, the more likely they would be to change it. So if more of you want to keep Vault Disney...or want to make a suggestion to the Disney Channel...be sure to call!

The only one that I know about is the Walt Disney Treasures - Disneyland USA DVD. It includes footage from the grand opening, a ten year special and some other footage. Very interesting to watch.

By the way, the Walt Disney Treasures series includes Disneyland USA, Silly Symphonies, Davey Crocket and Mickey Mouse in Living Color. There are some new additions that are going to be released December 3, 2002, including The Complete Goofy, Mickey Mouse in Black and White and Behind the Scenes at the Walt Disney Studio. The Goofy one includes 46 shorts featuring Goofy!

Merry Christmas Mickey!

Do not bother to E-mail anyone at Disney. Their standard reply to e-mail is something like this (I can't quote it because I do not have the message in front of me.): 'We do not respond to electronic mail . . .'

However, I have heard many people say that they have received replies or been contacted via telephone after writing snail mail.

Inside Out

Yes I remember INSIDE OUT and I believe I have taped every episode. I loved that show and wish they would bring it back. There is a lot of new stuff at WDW that I would like to see.

I loved Inside Out also. I remember there was a man who hosted it first, then later it was a young man and a young lady and I believe George Foreman??? My memory isn't too good anymore lol but I'm not sure why I'm remembering George Foreman on there. Does anyone else remember that?
