Disney Direct Disclaimer

I just received yet another Disney Direct email. You know, the one's that come 25 times a week, with great deals like, "Spend $5,000 with us and get 10 cents off your next purchase--Excludes all items you might be interested in." But I digress...

The fine print says the following, and I was curious to know if anyone can explain this:

Please note: Power Rangers items not available for sale or shipment in Brunei, Burma, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Laos, Macao, Malaysia, The Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, European, African (except South Africa) and Middle Eastern Countries.

I'm wondering if it is due to the violence/martial arts factor? I know studies have shown that young children who watch these types of shows are much more aggressive in the way they play with others.

Re: Disney Direct Disclaimer

Maybe Disney only got exclusive rights to Power rangers in the US. Perhaps Ban Dai still handles sells and other property useage of the Power Rangers in those countries. I highly doubt it's the violence factor, especially in some of the countries listed.

Not necessarily. Guerilla (sp?) violence is much different than the respect demanded of children in some of these countries.
