Has anyone else had trouble using the discount codes offered by the Disney Movie Club?

Last time I ordered I didn't get the 30% off I was suppose to get.

Today an order arrived, but they didn't send the Mulan Pin that was suppose to come with the discount code.

I'm a bit miffed. Especially because I know calling there and talking to a real person is near impossible!

thank you for saying something. we just joined the DMC the other day. we were supposed to get a stitch pin with it, and did not. hopefully they'll get back to both of us and work it out.

i'm sorry to hear that you guys didn't get your pins. i got my stitch pin when i ordered it. i haven't placed an order to get the mushu pin. i will as soon as my other order comes in. i haven't had a problem with the Disney Movie Club in such a long time and i hope it stays that way.

When I was a member of DMC, I had lots of problems...most namely, not getting the movies I *ordered*, but getting sent (and charged for) movies I specifically said I did NOT want.

It had something to do with their website. I always went there to refuse the featured selections of the month. I CONSISTENTLY received them, no matter how many times my refusal was confirmed online.

It wasn't an every month thing, but about every other month the featured selection would show up in the mail and I've have to send it back and have the $$ credited to my account.

I am not a member anymore.

I can get my Disney movies for $14 at Wal-Mart anyway. *sigh*

I honestly haven't read many positive things about the Disney Movie Club. It's been a year or so since the subject came up last but what I read back then kept me from joining. Good luck, I hope you get what you ordered.

We had the exact same experience. We tried to cancel a number of times (try actually TALKING to somebody there...not too easy!!!) We finally sent them a letter via registered mail and told them that we had felt that we had done all we could in good faith, but now, by receipt of the letter, they were in receipt of our cancellation, and any future letters, bills, or dvd's would be sent to our state's Attorney General's office.

So far so good...

I forgot I started this thread. A couple days later we got a DVD I had specified NOT to send.

I called. Was on hold for 15-20 minutes. The CM who answered was very friendly. She apologized.

Two days later we received a postage paid label to send the DVD back.

Today my Mushu pin arrived. I only wanted the free pin for trading, but it's so cool I may not trade it.

I belong to the club.
I have only got my initial discounted promo. order.
I have not ordered anything else yet, but in May that have Aladdin II & III ond DVD that I may get.

How do you get the free pins?

So far no problems though, I went online this past month and opted out of the selection and they did not send it.
