Just curious how much you would be willing to pay extra, per person per day, to add an Unlimited Fast Pass Ticket option to your MYW park ticket? My definition of an Unlimited Fast Pass Option would be the ability to use the Fast Pass lines without restrictions. So it would be Unlimited.

Re: Unlimited Fast Pass Option, what would you pay?
I would pay double if I were planning on going during a busy time. I found out they actually have an enhanced fast pass for Disneyland. If you purchase your entire package from AAA (which includes a stay at one of the three Disney hotels), then you get an enhanced fast pass. You are able to hold one fast pass (for every ride that has a fast pass) at the same time. I've purchased a AAA package for my Disneyland trip in Nov. It's really too bad they don't offer the same thing for WDW.

Re: Unlimited Fast Pass Option, what would you pay?
It depends on what time of the year! During the Summer,or Christmas or Spring BreakI would pay whatever Disney would charge! Seriously 25.00 to 50.00.
It would be worth the $$$ to spend less time in line. But during the slow seasons I would not pay anything. However Disney seems to be picking up amd there are not that many slow seasons anymore! |

Re: Unlimited Fast Pass Option, what would you pay?
I agree with Karen. I usually vacation during historically slow times, so although we use fastpass, it's not a MUST. If I were to go during busy times, though, forget it -- I'd pay $50 easy for an unlimited fastpass option.
(NOTE: If anyone from Disney Research is reading this, I'll even buy it during the slow times if you give Annual Passholders a discounted unlimited fastpass option... .) ;)

Re: Unlimited Fast Pass Option, what would you pay?
I don't think I would pay anything...
I'm not sure I would like the idea of anyone who has the $$ having unlimited access to FPs. I like the way the FP system works now, and having "unlimited" available - even if it cost more - would kind of stink IMHO.

Re: Unlimited Fast Pass Option, what would you pay?
I think we pay enought already.
I'd just continue to go at slower times of the year.

They already have this at Disneyland Resort Paris. It comes with certain packages at their top hotel. It isn't costed out separately so I don't know how much it was. Whatever it was, it was well worth it. It's called a VIP fastpass and is, like you say, unlimited. You can use it wherever and whenever you want as long as the ride is a fastpass ride. I suppose I'd pay double the normal ticket price for the privelege if I had to pay separately.

Re: Unlimited Fast Pass Option, what would you pay?
I don't like the idea. The last time we were at Universal they had a similar pass feature, an extra ~50/person/day. I don't know how many they sold but we found that by 10:30 or so advance passes for most rides were gone for the day. We tried different stategies over three days and never did get on the Shrek ride (it had just opened). The wait was way too long in the heat and advance tickets were gone in the first hour. Far worse than we had experienced before.
We figured it must be the "pre-sold" feature that greatly reduced the available passes.

Re: Unlimited Fast Pass Option, what would you pay?
Pssssst...these types of passes do exsist but only through the corporate office of disney. We had several problems when we stayed at the Coronado Springs Resort. Due to the problems, we wasted at least 2-3 hours at the front desk sorting everything out. Long-story-short, a rep from corporate called me and sent us these unrestricted fast passes. It was suppose to make up for the time we lost due to the front desk fiasco. They were good at any time on the fastpass rides. Didnt have to wait for a specific time frame to use them. Again, it is not available to the general public. I guess corporate uses them to give out to try and make-up for problems elsewhere at WDW.

Re: Unlimited Fast Pass Option, what would you pay?
Thanks CaraMia! I've seen people walk up and show something and go right in and I've always wondered how they did that. The mystery is solved after all this time!

Re: Unlimited Fast Pass Option, what would you pay?
Wow. ALmost makes you want to have a problem. I'd miss a few hours at the park to have a special fast pass tickets given to make it up to me. Of course my luck I'd miss all day at the park and still not get anything to make it up.
I guess if they sold the option I might spend up to another $20 per day. I don't think I would spend any more than that. We just got back and it was really busy and we were still able to get on Sorin 3 times and TT 2 times with Fast Passes.

Re: Unlimited Fast Pass Option, what would you pay?
I would personally be upset if they had something like this, if it were available for purchase or as part of a special package. With the number of people at the parks, only a certain amount could afford it/buy it, so most of the park is upset becuase they have to wait inline while others don't. It isn't fair, and hurts attendance. In the parks, everyone is equal, and it should stay that way.
At Disneyland, Disney used to offer the unlimited fast pass to guests buying a package through Disney. Since they can't keep a special like that away from the general public for more than 12 months, they gave it to AAA as an exclusive. I have used it a couple of times, and it is over rated. You still have to get the fast passes, meaning you spend time walking around the park instead of going on rides, and unless you are there during the summer or at Christmas, the fast passes are useless. At WDW, they would have a couple of optons, none of them are good. 1. They can included it for all WDW resort guests. That makes them useless, since the vast majority would have them, the fast pass line would be as long as the regular line. 2. They can sell them in the parks. If they do this, they would have to be a high dollar amount, and be limited on the number they sell. This way, only the rich could afford it. I have a family of 7, there is no way I would spend $350 a day just to ride a couple more rides. Most people would be in the same boat. You are just creating classes in the parks. 3. They can use them as "gifts" to those who have problems at the resorts and parks. This is a very small number of people, maybe 100 per day spread out amoung four parks, no one would notice. I know Disney has looked at this in the past, prior to Universal implimenting it, and they obviously saw the flaws in it for them. While it may work in some ways at Universal, it does the park a lot of harm as well.

Re: Unlimited Fast Pass Option, what would you pay?
I agree. If they made them cheap enough for everyone to afford them then everyone would have them and then the fast pass lines would be just as long as the regular lines.
It sure is a nice dream though. I would love to be the only one in the park with a special fast pass ticket good at all rides any time of day.
