My dh just left the Disneyland Resort after working for them for two years. He wasn't onstage, though.
He was pretty high-ranking, yet, he felt that there was very little flexibility, that all is "by the book" in order "not to set a precedent." In his industry of IT, they have to have a little more leeway than the average office employee or things just won't get done. He feels a bit more free now. Anyway, the perks are great, however. And if you're salaried and married, your spouse gets the same perks (that part I know I'm going to miss). Both dsnygrl and Mr. Incredible worked onstage at DLR and they might have a little more perspective from that side. |
