Interesting that the corporation Roy is involved in bought the Harlem Globetrotters and they(not sure if they still do or not) used the DWWOS as their home base.

huh...that is interesting. I haven't seen them perform since I was a kid. I didn't even know that they were still around.

I would love to go see them! I've never seen them live...my son would get a HUGE kick out of `em!

My oldest won a writing contest a couple years ago and we got to go 2 hours before one of their games and meet the players and get pics/autographs. They had 2 teams a few years ago, 1 for "fun" and 1 was for "real" basketball that played college teams in preseason exhibitons. They come to ND once every couple years. Roy's corporation owns the team now but Manny Jackson still runs the team and their operations. Check out harlemglobetrotters.com for their schedule and other info.
