That's what I say! She was a wreck at the olympics when she couldn't skate! Hopefully a little disney magic will cheer her up!

Good for her! I felt really bad that she had to pull out of the Olympics. She has been working for the gold for so long, but oh well. Things happen.

She has always been very classy and I admire her for pulling out of the olympics and allowing the other girl to compete rather than to try to skate when she's not 100%.

I think she's a good fit for Disney. (Plus having all that spare time on her hands..yada yada yada...)

I'm going to against the mainstream here and say I thought she was very selfish to bump someone off the team, so she could have another shot. The games are well adverstised, she knew when she had to be ready to try out.

But she decides to ask for a special tryout saying she is 100%. The young girl from the east coast lost the chance to enter the Olympic stadium with the American Team and the chance to see all of the pagentry associated with the games. Ms. Kwan should have stayed home,

Yup. I actually wasn't sad for her at all. She wasted a lot of people's time. And ruined someone else's shot at stardom this go-round.

But for the most part, she seems pretty nice and well-rounded - a good fit with Disney.

A friend of mine used to train with her when they were really young kids. She has never had anything bad to say about her. Even when their family was struggling and living in a one bedroom apartment, just so Michelle could train - she said she was still a nice, humble girl.

BINGO! Honesty and integrity are of question here. The selfishness of her decision put another promising young skater on the bench and ill-prepared for a fair shot. Athletes state one of the most glorious events about participating in the olympics is walking in the opening ceremony. Good thing we robbed someone of that chance huh michelle? At least Kwan enjoyed it. Selfish and in poor taste. There was no question she was not ready for these games. See ya on the Celebrity Circuit and maybe Disney on Ice. Do I seeem bitter?

I felt the same way Boss. I didn't really know all the details since I detest ice skating, but I did know she took the slot even when she wasn't 100%. Seems kinda selfish to me...
