I'm going to miss seeing what the Disney Happy meal toys are!!

Hmm...interesting question. There are at least two at DLR that I can think of and Burger Invasion at DCA. I wonder if that will stay too? Actually...I was always sorta ticked that the opened a McDonalds Fry shack at DL across from the HM. It used to be a great place for catfish nuggets! YUM!

Nope! That's not changing, my DS would be lost w/o his fries on vacation.

We travelled through Europe...if there was a McDonald's and it was meal time...you know where I wanted to go....HAHAHA!

That's my DS! He is sooo picky, but he will always eat McDonald's.

I don't think any of that will change.This came form the link:

Sources on both sides told the Orlando Sentinel said the parting of the ways was mutual and McDonald's fare will continue to be offered in Disney's parks.

That's a bummer. I like it when they have the Disney toys. I wonder what they will put more of a focus on now.

Actually, from what I've read, Disney pulled out of the Happy Meal toy promotion because of concerns about obesity in children, so I'm pretty glad about it. McDonald's will still have places to eat at WDW -- it's just that Disney doesn't want to encourage children to have Happy Meals specifically in order to get the toy.

Roomie and I love the fry carts. We don't order from them, but we love to see them--they're so funny. Our favorite is "There's gold in them there fries" in Frontierland!

Kids are going to have an occasional Happy Meal. I certainly liked the Disney toys better than a lot of the junk that come in those meals. The toys helped get the kids excited about the movies, too.
