ISO a book recommendation of Disney

I'm new to this site, and love it already! We're going to Disney in May (HOORAY!), and everytime I'm there, I become more obsessed with the making of the parks and behind the scenes. If you could only buy ONE book that captures what I'm looking for, which one would it be?

I have never bought or read any behind the scenes books...although that is a fascinating subject. I can't wait to see what everyone has to say!

OH OH OH I just remembered that my sisiter has a book about WDW. It is a coffee table tome and it has a lot of stuff about WDW. It is kinda old but I will get the name and pass it on.:)
I have a book about the man himeslef, Walt Disney. It is called "Remembering Walt- Favorite Memeories of Walt Disney". It has mostly anecdotal quotes and stories from different people in his life. It has some photos and some history about DL and WDW. It is by Amy Boothe Green and Howard E. Green with a forward by Ray Bradbury.

Try going to Borders.com and search under Walt Disney World. You have to seperate teh wehat from chaft so to speak but there maybe some books of interest there. Just flipping through real quick I saw a couple of books on the history of Walt Disney and at least one about Imagineering. Good luck!:)

Welcome to DC, try Designing Disney's Theame Parks "The Architecture of Reassurance". I do not have it but I have flipped through it a BooksAMillion, kind of pricey, but I think it is what you are looking for. Check out the reviews at http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...roduct-details
