Disney bought Club Penguin...it is a website and they just relaunched it.

Darn and I'm stuck at work! Asking DW to DVR it is like asking her to perform brain surgery.

Signed up for Club Penguin and it is like VMK but with you guessed it Penguins. I have to say the execution seems to be better but I would rather spend my virtual time in VMK...virtual MK is more fun virtual winterland.

Re: Iger interview on CNBC

Club Penguin purchase might mean that we might see a pay version of VMK show up. Club Penguin lets you play for free but if you want the cool stuff you have to pay a monthly fee.

The code seems to be a tighter then VMK. VMK can be sluggish where Club Penguin is pretty quick.

Just some quick observations...

They kicked me out of VMK. I didn't play for about 2 or 3 months and when I tried to sign back in, I couldn't Now I am boycotting VMK. I spent so much time there, had so much really cool stuff. Forgetaboutit

Re: Iger interview on CNBC

The only thing I've tried on VMK is the pirates game.
It's fun though...but I agree, it takes a while to get folks to chat with you...not like MB at all!!!

I did see a headline that Disney posted $1.2B profits in THIS QUARTER!

Re: Iger interview on CNBC

My son signed up with club penguin in the spring, both my nieces were very into it. I didn't like the fact that you had to pay to do "cool" stuff. He's forgotten about it now anyway.

Oh, I meant the penguin game. I had a difficult time getting people to respond to me. At VMK I had a bunch of regular friends. The problem is that you don't know who it is and cannot stay in touch with them outside the game. There were some I would have liked to stay in touch with.
