Just got back form the Palisades Center in New York State, and of course we checked into the Disney Store there to get a quick fix...
Well, it was really something to see! There was a HUGE line of happy kids and parents, all waiting paticently to pay for their stuff! The place was jammed, with no elbow room at all. I love to see this, and I wish it would mean that more stores would open at more malls again!

We saw so many princess costumes, including the Enchanted dress -- and they had two versions of it. One was the usual well-made costume-y outfit, and it was darling. But the other one ($140!!!) was breathtaking and it came in a full dress bag, and was embroidered with satiny thread on the most incredible fabric. I mean, this dress could easily be worn for a First Communion or as a flower girl. It was really amazing.

I still miss the old Disney Stores before Children's Place bough them. I worked for the Disney Store through college and the stores were so great with really great merchandise.

I can't beleive you guys HAVE Disney stores. I think all the ones that were within 5 hours of my house in MD all went extinct. So sad!

I love the Disney store!! Sometimes it is just the right fix to hold you over until your next WDW trip!! You actually have me thinking that I should go to the mall & check out the Disney store, rather than the grocery trip I have planned! Can I make dinner out of the new Disney merchandise??....I bet my DH & DS wouldn't be surprised if I tried to!!!
