Spectacular new Disney stores, coming to a mall near you?

Very recently the old Disney Store in our local mall was replaced with a very spectacular new & fancy Disney Store. Even though the merchandise itself was still very "Disney Store [owned my the Children's Place]-esque" the actual presentation, structures, details, and whole "feel" reminded me more of the REAL World of Disney stores. It looks GORGEOUS with shiny red laquered floors that had gold pixie dust embedded in it, MANY flat screen LCD tvs playing park promos & cartoons, the "Disney Studio" type sketches on the walls & register counters, a VERY chic & modern dressing room with plexiglass Mickey chandeliers, & VERY VERY neat and organized merchandising.

Anyone else get one of these new Disney stores? It was pretty impressive, I had to take some pics with my cell phone.

This is NOT your Grandmother's Disney Store!!!!

(PS: I WISH I would have had my regular camera with me to catch details, my cell cam took crappy pics)

Oh, and I forgot to mention how BIG it was!! At least DOUBLE the size of the more traditional Disney Store that was in this mall before. It also had a slighty "warehouse" structure feel.

I will take a pic of our store, and you can compare. It's really nice, and sometimes I go hang out in there for no apparent reason. I am waiting for them to call security to come haul away their stalker! LOL...

Glad you got a nice new one, and I hope it's close enough tha tyou can go in and see the stuff and smell that great Disney store smell!!! Did you notice that the smell is the same at WoD and at the stores? It's even the same at the Emporium!!!

The "character mountain" is now a lot more modern & sleek looking.

PS: when I was standing there they were playing all the "Year of a Million Dreams" promos on those TVs, I sware it just made my PDD soooo much worse.

Looks and sounds pretty nice. The store near me in Cherry Hill NJ was very nice for the first few years and it reminded of the stores in WDW. Then they remodeled it and it wasn't the same. I'm glad to hear that the stores seems to be going back to their roots; hopefully the store near me will be on the remodel list soon.

The store is just fabulous!! It really does remind me of the stores at WDW with the cleanliness, organization and just Disney look and feel. I hope my gets the overhaul soon; I was just there yesterday and quite frankly it was a mess.

The Disney Store at our mall was suppose to have a "makeover" (that was the words a cm used) last year, but never happened. It sure could use it. We rarely go in it anymore.

This is in the Monmouth Mall in Eatontown. Kinda a crappy mall but it's the closest one to my house & now with this fancy nancy Disney Store maybe I'll go more often.

we jsut got a new one in the Hershey Outlets.. i havent had the opportunity to go in yet. I was acutally thinking of going today BUT our wind chill today is -0. .
