She has concerts, acting and albums which allows her to pursue her creative passion. And the press that goes along with it all. But do we have to have her on backpacks, t-shirts, bedsheets, etc. SOOOO MUCH?!?! Starting to seem greedy - and her parents say they limit her allowance to keep her grounded. But what example are they showing by grabbing every dollar that comes her way?

I love her, but with TMZ and such I fear for her.

Those behind-the-scenes pictures really put a different perspective on the finished product for me.

When I saw "the" picture, I thought it was gorgeous... but inappropriate. Because it looked very much to me like she was on a bed, looking a bit tousled, satin sheet clutched to her chest, which isn't how I want a 15 year old girl presented. That said, I also wondered if it was my daughter, would I put the picture up on the wall? I'd be torn. Because it is beautiful, but how do I want people seeing my kid?

Looking at the behind the scene pictures- it looked NOTHING like that. What she was wearing was slightly bare, but no big deal at all. The photograph provided an entirely different context from what her parents were seeing on the set, I think. So while I don't know if I believe them with their "now they don't approve", I can see where that's possible. Right there during the photoshoot, they're not looking at her inappropriately- but the lens can present a different point of view.

Canceling the show? Ridiculous. A huge overreaction. Because while I can debate the finer points and think that Leibowitz should have gone in a different direction, in the end it's just not that big of a deal. Her picture is a little sexy. So be it. It's not a great moral failing, I don't think it reflects badly on her. If I were Miley Cyrus and 15, I'd be thrilled with it. There are so many things that could be much, much worse.

The father/daughter picture? Yes, the word is "creepy"! And for that I do lay the blame directly at the feet of Annie Leibowitz. Miley & Billy don't have an inappropriate relationship, so the picture didn't feel inappropriate to them while they were posing... but again... what is seen isn't what they feel.

ONE thing I will say however, is that I DO NOT like how Billy and Tish are saying NOW that they did not ok the shot. I do not feel that is fair to Annie. She is a wonderful photographer, her work is fantastic. I just think that the more "daring, racy, etc." photos should be left to consenting adults.

I agree with you Daisee. The thing that I didn't like about the shot was the smudged lipstick it was inappropriate. Along with the sheet covering her. Way over the top. The other thing is that she is only 15 why do a shot like that? Let her be a young adult. The parents are to blame for this.

Miley Cyrus may be skipping the red carpet at this weekend's 2008 Disney Channel Games in Florida – "on the advice of her management team," a source tells PEOPLE – but she's keeping plenty busy anyway, hitting the rides, rehearsing for her upcoming performance, and meeting Sen. John Edwards and his family.

On Thursday, Cyrus and her brother Braison rode the rides at the Magic Kingdom and Epcot. While in line for the Test Track ride, Cyrus ran into Edwards and his three children. (The senator's youngest two children, Emma Claire and Jack, are Hannah Montana fans who were super eager to meet the star.)

"She chatted with them about all the rides and attractions they saw at Walt Disney World," a source close to the singer tells PEOPLE. "It was a sweet moment."

On Friday, Cyrus will continue her rehearsals and has some work to do before production begins on the Hannah Montana feature film next week. The singer is also working on her role in Bolt – an animated film to which she lends her voice.

Before Saturday's performance, Cyrus was scheduled to appear at a red carpet event and media party Friday to kick off the games, the Associated Press reports. A source close to Cyrus tells PEOPLE: "Miley was invited but she is focusing on her rehearsals and preparing for her show tomorrow. She's happy to be here."

Also, in light of the recent Vanity Fair photo flap, a Disney Channel source adds: "She was invited to the media party but understandably, is not attending on the advice of her management team.

"She is just 15 and worried and upset over everything related to the photos of her," the source adds. "Her parents are upset and her entire family is affected too. I just can't imagine anyone reasonably expecting her team to then put her in the middle of what would be a media feeding frenzy."

Blame for what? I don't get it. My DD is 14 years old..I can at least identify with the possible issues here..I don't get it at all. the smudged lipstick could also be her made-up as a grown up and making a mess of herself like a kid would do. Why does it need to be sexual? Perhaps it is also portraying her not wanting to be made-up like a more down-to-earth person would be. Perhaps it's in the eyes of who is viewing it and not getting the photograph that is the issue at hand here. Why does it have to be sexual? I dont' get that at all from the picture.


I seriosuly think (and I am not talking about you) that people need to get off their moral high horses and think a bit. Try and remember yourself as 15 years old and think what you would have done. I would have done the shoot...my parents wouldn't have thought twice about it. She bares her shoulders...spare me. I just left the mall and can definately say that she was over dressed compared to some of the girls i just saw and yes, they were with their parents. If this is the worse thing this kid does, she's great. She's never been photographed or "seen" doing anything remotely inappropriate. I think her parents have done a wonderful job keeping her grounded and very much a 15year old girl.

With so many other things in our country that is morally wrong, do we seriously need to judge this act? We are talking about a beautiful young lady here who showed shoulder?? holy cannoli people I feel like I just stepped back into 1950. Again, still think the father/daughter shot is a bit creepy and think the photogrpaher could have portrayed their relationsip differently in the picture.

It would have been nice if someone at Disney would have said something to back her up. Lord knows she's making them enough money...they could and should say something in her favor.

I was only expressing my opinion. I wouldn't want my 15 year old to take a shot like that for millions to see. That is just me. Obviously, others feel differently. We have seen in this day and age so many stars go down the wrong path. I would hate to see this happen to her. What is wrong with being moral and having good values? Just my opinion, I respect everyones opinions.
