To sum it up, for anyone who doesn't want to read the article:

A former magician has discovered a way to display corporate logos, and/or other symbols, high into the sky using "tiny bubbles filled with air and a little helium." Dubbed "Flogos" the special foam forms into shapes and then gets pumped into the sky.

"The Walt Disney Co. will use one of the machines next month to send clouds shaped like Mickey Mouse heads into the air at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Fla., Guerra said."

- A single Flogo can travel as far as 30 miles and as high as 20,000 feet, Guerra says, and a machine can produce one every 15 seconds.

- The foam is environmentally safe because it's mostly water, air and a soapy agent that creates bubbles

I agree, this will be cool at WDW. But soon, a person won't be able to look up at the sky without getting ads for soft drinks and car dealerships. I was driving through the Ozark Mountains in March thinking how the beautiful scenery was polluted with billboards for tourist traps and adult bookstores. Now it will be floating overhead as well.

I hope WDW restricts what's allowed in their "airspace", because I certainly don't want to see all sorts of random advertising while I'm in WDW!

I guess we can't control it anywhere else, but at least in WDW I would hope to avoid oversaturation of that kind of stuff...

Of course Mickey logos are okay anywhere, but nothing else!

After all, looking up and seeing a Mickey Head cloud- magical! Seeing some other ad- ICK.

I think that would be so cool to see a Mickey head floating overhead, but I'm with everyone else, I don't want to see ads all over the place.

OH my these are AWESOME!! I wonder how much it costs?? It would be cool to check the clouds for hidden Mickeys . . . or to see one floating by while you were on the bus . . . wouldn't it??

Well if you look closely around the parks . . . there are still subtle signs of sponsors here and there . . . just not RIGHT in your face!!
