can anyone tell me how walt disney died?

Had to look this up myself. Did a Google search and found a site that said lung cancer. Sound right to everyone?

Did the same thing. My search brought me to his death certificate. It states simply "cardiac arrest". I couldn't find anything else, but I didn't look very long.

Walter Elias Disney died on December 15th, 1965 just 10 days after his 65th birthday, of an acute circulatory collapse brought on by complications from lung cancer. Within 24 hours of his death, his body was cremated and the ashes placed in an underground vault at Forest Lawn cemetery in Glendale. Although his gravesite is not a closely guarded secret, it's location is relatively unknown. It is at the left corner of the main entrance to the Freedom Mausoleum against the wall. It is marked only by a plaque on the wall with the names of Walt, his daughter Dianne, and his wife Lillian. The plaque is slightly obscured from view by a tree.

I had also known that Disney's grave is in relative obscurity. I find that so sad. Someone who continues to bring so much joy and happiness to the world deserves more recognition, in my opinion.

I think my 10th grade science teacher said it best: "If anyone was frozen and brought back alive, he (Disney) is the one person who probably deserves it most for making so many happy." :)

i agree with you, cinderellafifi. he deserves to be brought back because he made so many happy. oh, by the way, i know it's not for quite some time, but congrats on renewing your vows in WDW.

so, if walt disney had lung cancer, does that mean he smoked cigarettes? i hope not. i can't picture someone like that a smoker.

i read somewhere that he had lung cancer.
