Got my new WDW Vacation Planning Kit

Just wanted to let y'all know that if you ordered the new WDW Vacation Planning Kit, they are mailing them out. We got the DVD Kit which includes a Preschooler's Guide, Grand Gatherings Info and the WDW Vacation Planning Guide that includes maps and such.

There is even more information than last year's DVD. I don't necessarily think its organized as well as the one last year, but there is so much on it, I haven't made my way through it all yet. (Yeah... go imagine.... between homework, fixing dinner, giving baths, getting kids ready for bed and reading stories... I haven't had time yet

) There is a feature that allows you to choose Pal Mickey tips in certain places. The kids loved looking for the next PM. There is also information on Sarasota Springs, Pop Century, and Mission:Space.

I knew many of you used these to entertain your kids.... (iluvwdw) ;) Just add it to the library..... :love:

I got mine today!!! I am not allowed to watch it until DD comes home from school tomorrow and it's killing me. It's a nice little kit. I like the handy dandy box it comes in with the slot for the maps and guides they provided. I cannot wait for tomorrow!! :)

I am SO WEAK!!! I broke down this morning and watched it. I couldn't handle seeing the cute little purple box. It was calling my name "Dana, watch me...watch me!!!!" I have to say that this is their best one yet. Why is it that these planning videos manage to bring to me tears? They are so geared toward family and watching your child at Dsiney that it's impossible to keep a dry eye. Now, I have to watch it later with my DD and pretend I have never seen it before...lol

Okay... I am going to be showing signs of newness here, but how do you get the DVD version?? I got the video for our trip is it the same thing? But we did not get a "kit"?

Is there a cost?

A few weeks ago, I got an email from Dinsey asking me if I'd like a Vacation Planning kit. Of course I said "Darn Tooting". Presto, in the mail yesterday was a purple box thingy. In it was a video and a slot for guides and package information. When I picked yes for wanting the "kit", there was an option at the bottom of the email that was for selecting the video or DVD version. This is really just their vacation video that you can order from their site. It's the newest version with Magical gatherings and all the new added attractions and resorts. You can order on Disney.com now I think. You could in the past anyway. You can also call and ask Disney travel to send you one. They will do it without blinking an eye. It's a definate must-see for all the Dinsey addicts on here. I order one everytime they put a new one out whether I have a trip planned or not. I have quite a collection going.

Ohhh...I can't wait to get mine! Nathaniel will be in heaven with a NEW video...thanks for thinking of me Anne!!! HAHAHA....:laugh Now that he turned two, he developed two new words into his vocabulary....WALT DISNEY!! It is the cutest thing ever....he sees the castle and he says WALT DISNEY! He sees the video and/or the DVD on the shelf and he SAYS WALT DISNEY! He sees pics from our trip in August and says WALT DISNEY! He even has a big musical snowglobe (that is NOT Disney, by the way) but it looks like the tree of life, with all kinds of animals coming out of it...he sees it and says WALT DISNEY!!!! Sooooooooooooooo cute!!!!! :laugh

:nooo: Where the heck have I been?? I didn't even know this was out! I think i deleted that email...i remember seeing something sent to me from Disney. :laugh

I just went on line to order it. It'd be nice if i got it before our trip in 23 days!!!

I got mine in about two weeks (give or take a day or two). You should have it right before you leave. Just as that last week of waiting and anticipation rush comes on. :)

I must have missed something. the last thing we got from Disney as to vacations was a DVD (only). I haven't heard anything about a "kit". Can someone please tell me how to get one? We want to go again in May,2004.
