Rude Guy when I called to ask a question about my reservation
I have to say I was quite surprised. I booked a vacation through Disney and a wonderful lady named Wendy helped me. She was pure Disney, extremely accomodating. When I received my materials through the mail I had a simple question about some of the papers they sent me. When I called Disney I got a guy on the phone and he was RUDE as anybody from my hometown of New York City. I was surprised he was representing Disney (i.e. not friendly at all and could hardly help with the simple questions I had, he really seemed like he didn't want to help at all). Has anybody else encountered this.
I was really surprised, maybe he was having a bad day, but come on man your at Disney. I get enough of that attitude in New York. :) August can't come soon enough |

Sorry to hear that stemikger, that does shock me. Did you happen to catch his name? I would call back and ask to speak to a supervisor about this. I am sure there is someone there who doesn't tolerate that kind of behavior.
Good luck!

I'd say that 98% of the people I've dealt with are very friendly and helpful, some more so than others, and they always really stand out. But over the years I've had one or two that have been rude. I once had one tell me to speak slower because she couldn't understand my Canadian accent! Huh? (or should I say Eh?) Quite frankly, my "accent" is probably the same as most of the midwestern USA. Guess rude ones do slip through, but it doesn't hurt to let Disney know.

If I were you I would have said "Can you put me on with a represenative that wants to help me, because it's obvious you don't". Or I would have hung up and called again and got anothhr rep. I get enough attitude in Jersey too and do not need it from someone I spent my money with. I have never had this happen to me with anyone at WDW. Bad day or not, there is no call for being rude when being asked a simple question. I am sorry for your bad experience and hope it's the first and last time it will ever happen to you when dealing with WDW.
