Suitors await chance to make bid for Disney
Suitors await chance to make bid for Disney
BY DONNA BALANCIA FLORIDA TODAY A German financial group, a Saudi prince and a well-known trio of entertainment moguls could be contenders for The Walt Disney Co. kingdom if Comcast Corp.'s attempt to take over the entertainment company fails, amusement-industry analysts said Thursday. "As many have found out over the years, it's not easy to run a large company like Disney," said consultant Nick Winslow, former head of Warner Bros. entertainment division. Winslow, who advises corporations on theme-park deals and operations, said only a handful of entities would be able to play the "white knight" if the Comcast offer to purchase Disney crumbled. click http://www.floridatoday.com/!NEWSROOM/moneystoryN0213DISNEY.htm

If a Saudi prince can run the Disney Co., then so can we. I think that either of the three would be terrible choices. I'd rather give the company to Comcast than have someone who has no idea how to run any company at all. But I say that Disney should and will tough out the bids for a take-over, and then build it all back up and be #1 again. Let's bring the magic back to Disney:)
