Mickey's House of Villains

Anybody seen this yet? Is it worth buying or just a rental?

I bought it but the decision to buy or rent is up to the viewer. If you watch the House of Mouse on Saturday mornings AND enjoy it(as I do) you'll like it. If you watch it only because it's the only thing on TV, rent it. Let's say it's a great little Halloween movie but I had to watch it 3 times before I said it was a keeper. It's the same format as the saturday morning show featuring several halloween cartoons and I couldn't tell you how the villains attempt to take over as I tuned out whenever a cartoon wasn't on. :)

We ended up renting this movie and my son seemed to like it... unfortunatly mom and dad fell asleep so we missed it.:o

But like I said, my son said it was good so we will probably end up buying it eventually.

Thanks for the info!

My daughter and I boght this last Saturday for our weekly Disney night video. It was a bunch of old Halloween Disney cartoon I haven't seen in soooo long. I use to have a view finder with one of the cartoons on it in like 1975 or something. I enjoyed it for that reason only. The rest of the story line wasnt all that good. They could have deifnatley done better. The whole Fantasmic like ending wasn't that impressive either. Like I said, I enjoyed the old cartoons, but other than that I founf it to be a bummer.

We bought Monsters this weekend and I absolutley loved that!!! What a trip.

Dana, my feelings exactly. I liked it only because its been a long time since I saw some of those halloween cartoons. I vaguely remember the huey, dewey & louie cartoon so it was a nice little flashback for me. As a whole, it was a bit of a letdown. I just bought Beauty & the Beast on DVD. The special features on Disney Animation & the stories behind the tales were interesting. I'm eagerly waiting for the next Pooh Christmas movie. :)
