Re: MY Disney Channel schedule proposal

Hey Kent...I definitely like your ideas compared with the *current* Disney Channel schedule! A vast improvement.

But I'm curious why you included shows like Garfield/Charlie Brown, which aren't Disney?

Well for one thing, no one is currently running the Charlie Brown & Snoopy show eps. and specials, so I thought it would be a nice addition, especially since ABC (currently owned by Disney) now runs the Holiday specials at Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, as well as the new Valentine's Day special which recently aired.

Toon Disney currently runs Garfield & Friends, but at 2:30am. I included that here since 2:30pm is a MUCH better time slot, and not every gets Toon Disney yet! I get Toon Disney (on digital cable), but there are many cable systems that don't carry Toon Disney yet.

Re: MY Disney Channel schedule proposal

I have grown disgusted with the Disney Channel over the past few years (as many of you know from threads I have started). I applaud the work that went into trying to come with a "fantasy" new schedule, but I think there are a three glaring ommisions. Namely, Quack Attack, Mousterpiece Theater and Davey Crockett. In fact, there are NO classic Disney cartoon shows on the "new" schedule you came up with. (Heck, I even would add some from the 80s, such as Duck Tales, Tailspin, Gummi Bears, etc. as well.) I would suggest leaving out some of the dumb shows they have now (American Dragon? OMG, what's the deal with THAT??) and inserting some real Disney cartoons. But I would be glad to see the old "late nite" shows return, such as Zorro, Wonderful World of Disney (aka Wonderful World of Color), MMC, etc.
