Yay! I love SOTS! I've only watched it once (thanks Tink!

) and would LOVE to own it for real.

DH loves it too...Brer Rabbit makes him think of Splash Moutain, which is his personal sentimental Disney fave ride.

Ohhh to have a real DVD !! mine is made from an English VHS tape, that Dixie sent me years ago... so to have a real DVD with all the extra's would be so awesome.. I checked songofthesouth.net and

I would love to have on official DVD. The DVD/CD-Rom copy I have now has japanese sub-titles on it for the first frame.

That is so Great. I can't wait to buy this one. I'm like Dana, I have the bootleg version, but my copy is pretty fuzzy and bad. I can't wait to see it in DVD form. I honestly wondered if this day would ever come, it's pretty exciting. Thanks for the Information.

This is soooooo cool!!! I have a DVD version that a friend gave to me. The quality is excellent, and their are no subtitles, it even has extra stuff on it.

I dont care, I want an official one!!!

i never saw SOTS so i'm really really looking forward to its release. once i finally see it, then i'll understand all the little scenes that take place during the splash mountain ride.

I can now (in 17-18 months) throw away my grainy poor quality VHS version of this movie. Right now there is a black-market on ebay. Disney wants to make that money. It's about time!!

YES!!!!!. We have a DVD copy that we have just about worn out. If that is possible. I would love to have the original from Disney, with bonus features and stuff.

Growing up in the south my Grandmother used to read me the stories when I was little. I can't stand the fact that since its not PC I can't have something that is a part of my childhood.
