Incredibles Shilloutte

Well, as I mentioned in another thread, I've seen the Incredibles 5 times on the DVD (Yeah, you can watch a film too much.) PLUS all the extras. [I have NOT listened to the commentary, which might explain this, but...]

There is an image that's driving me nuts.

Both times Bob pulls into his driveway, there is a clump of trees in the back ground that CLEARLY are a shilloutte of someone/something. It's easiest to see the shilloutte in the drive right after Bob gets fired.

I have two thoughts on who it might be. First, the shilloutte looks like the profile of the federal agent responsible for keeping the supers hidden.

BUT it also looks like a profile of Beetle Bailey. I'm wondering if it's a tribute to the cartoon character.

Anyone else notice this? Anyone else have a thought?

I must not pay attention...I didn't notice it. I have seen it twice on DVD and once in the movie....I have to watch it again.

I'm definatly checking this out next time I watch. I've seen it 3 times on DVD. Never saw it in theaters.

One thing. (this is off topic) but the back fender on Mr. Incredibles small blue car looks just like the Up Coming "Cars" logo. Or maybe I'm just crazy.

PIXAR is notorious for having "easter eggs" in their films, especially from other Pixar films. If you recall at the end of Monsters, Inc., Boo hands Sully a Woody doll, a bug, and last of all, 1 year before it's release, a clownfish (Nemo). So it's no surprise if there's a CARS Easter Egg. As far as the silhouette goes, there are several large pictures from the Incredibles in the que line guest wait for when meeting The Incredibles and Frozone. It was pointed out to me several surprises in those pictures. One of the pictures is the driveway of the Parr house. When I go to work on Saturday I'll tell everyone exactly what the silhouette is. Speaking of the DVD, one of the best purchases I ever made. Did anyone else just about die laughing from the "Jack Jack Attack" short?

We watched Jack Jack Atack last night. I bet this is setting the stage for the sequal.

BTW...does anyone have trouble with the subtitles on the bonus cd? I can't turn them off.

Not sure about the shilloutte but here are some interesting things.....

During the police chase at the beginning of the movie, the license plate for the squad car reads KR 54. As in Car 54 from the old television series "Car 54, Where Are You?"

Mirage's toll-free phone number on her calling card is 866-787-7476, a currently unregistered phone number. However, when compared to the letters on a typical phone pad, the last seven digits spell out the word "SUPRHRO".

The story takes place in a city called "Metroville". It's a combination of "Metropolis" and "Smallville", respectively the cities where Superman lives and was raised.

In the beginning of the film, when a robber is going through a woman's purse on the roof of a building, a Mr. Incredible Pez dispenser can be seen among the items scattered on the ground.

Wow, did you notice all of those yourself? I never notice anything interesting but I love watching for them when they are pointed out to me. this does not have anything to do with that, but is that a golden retriever in your picture, I have one of those myself!
