Icon5 Boundin' rating

How would you rate the short flick that came with the Incredibles called Boundin'?

I thought Pixar must have ran a little short on ideas when they made that.
Catchy tune, but still, because of a strange theme, story, and plot, as well as ill-faded humor, it makes all of the other Pixar shorts such as Knick Knack, look like the greatest things since sliced bread. I would give it a low rating. I passed it right by when I scrolled down special features menu when I watched the DVD last last night. Some of you may call me Simon Cowell, but I'm going to stick with my decision. As for the rest of you, give me your rating.

Re: Boundin' rating

I loved Boundin'

Pixar uses shorts as a technology showcase. Like animating clothing or hair. I don't know what it was in Boundin'.

My nieces loved Boundin'...got the stomp down write away all around the house

It is my favorite short!!!! I compare these shorts to the original Mickey shorts. Like Steamboat Willie and such. When my kids are grown these shorts will be in the hall of fame for Pixar.

Re: Boundin' rating

We watched it mostly because it was Oscar nominated and we really enjoyed it! I think you need to also watch the profile of Bud Luckey right after watching Boundin' to get the full experience of it. Lenny, you need to lighten up and just stomp! ;)

Re: Boundin' rating

Maybe the anticipation of seeing the actual movie that followed it made me ignore the good aspects of the flick.
Why am I giving in? I feel overwhelmed!

Hey, stick to your guns, er... binocular lenses. If you don't like something, it doesn't necessarily mean the short was bad, it's just that it didn't personally appeal to you. It's good to have people viewing things from different perspectives. If everyone liked the same stuff, life would be dull.

Re: Boundin' rating

Bounding is my absolute favorite short so far. It used to be the one on A Bug's Life. You know the chess player. Now it's Bounding.

Like through binoculars!

I agree with MWalter about the profile on Bud Luckey. He's such an interesting and likeable character that it makes you take another look at Boundin'. I liked it before but now I really appreciate it. And the tune is so catchy!
