We got our Beauty and the Beast DVD!

Well, unlike Monsters, Inc., which arrived AFTER the public release date, Beauty and the Beast arrived today! My DD and I watched it this afternoon and she barely moved! The movie is just as wonderful as I remembered!

Don't you just love it? And, it is great to get all the goodies with it when you pre-order! :) :)

I'm jealous...I can't go pick mine up til tomorrow! But those lithographs are cool. We're going to be finishing our basement this winter & all these pre-ordering lithos are going to be a huge part of our decorating!

I plan to purchase mine this week and my daughter and I can watch it this weekend. I took this Friday and Monday off because the schools are closed for a long Columbus Day weekend.

Does anyone know when the Lion King will be released on DVD?

There hasn't been an announcement yet on when the Lion King will be released, but I would look for it to be released before Christmas of 2003, hopefully sooner though.

I am on my way out the door to get Beauty and the Beast. My weekly run to Costco. Now, if I can keep my total bill under $100, it will be a miracle!

I thought they weren't releasing Lion King until after it comes out to the IMAX theaters like Beauty and the Beast....After this class (I'm in class writing this!! BAD!!!), I'm going straight to buy my Beauty and the Beast DVD!!! I love that movie!

As far as I know, you only get the extras when you pre-order the videos from Disney.Com. So I guess Lilo & Stich is next.... :)

I frequently check DVD sites that have info on this sort of stuff - I seem to recall reading- if not from an official Disney source- that The Lion King will be released in 2003, followed by Aladdin in 2004. Jen is already joking about the fact that we already know that my fortieth birthday present will be the Aladdin DVD. :-)
